Basic Needs Resources Program
The Mt. SAC Mountie Fresh Basic Needs Resources is a comprehensive campus-wide effort that serves students experiencing housing instability, food insecurity, and other emergency/crisis situations. The program goals are to provide students in need with:
- Food Resources
- Housing Referrals
- Case-Management Support

Dear Mounties: To learn about the latest directives Mt. San Antonio College is taking in regard to the COVID-19 situation please visit the Covid19 web page.
During these trying times with regards to the effects of COVID-19, we are working hard in trying to keep our website up to date with community resources that can provide some support as well as in adjusting our programming to provide both remote and in person services. Our Basic Needs Resources Program will continue providing support remotely and in person (in building 9G, The Basic Needs Resources Center).
Apply for CalFresh benefits from the comfort of your own home: Our partners at "Get CalFresh.org" have created a Mt. SAC personalized link for students who wish to apply for CalFresh benefits on their own and at their own pace! This link allows you to complete a short 10 minute application to find out if you and your household are eligible! CalFresh Outreach staff from Mountie Fresh Basic Needs Resources are available to provide support at any point of the application process!

Mobile Shower Access: During COVID-19, changes have occurred to the mobile shower locations in Los Angeles County. Mobile showers and handwashing locations in Los Angeles County can be found here.
There are various types of resources available for students in need at Mt. SAC. Our staff can assist you seek the resources most beneficial to your current situation.
Access our research page that houses the 2018 and 2020 #RealCollege Survey Reports for Mt. SAC and links to other basic needs research, including the numerous studies conducted by The Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice.
