Mission
- The mission of the Los Angeles
County Regional Health Occupations Resource Center
is to advance regional growth through education, training,
and services that contribute to continuous workforce
development bridging the gap between Health Care Education
and the Health Care Industry.The Los Angeles
Regional Health Occupation Resource Center is fundend
by the California
Community College Chancellor's Office and is hosted by Mt.San
Antonio College.
The
L.A. County RHORC has made it a priority to address
the nursing shortage. Leveraging resources with industry
through contract education has made it possible to
expand the current nursing programs in several regional
colleges. Together these efforts will result in more
than 400 additional nurses by the year 2008.

to promote your career entry or succes, we are here
to help. Access to Mt.SAC's Health Careers Resource
Center, Human patient simulations annex and the RHORC
Center services is available to all individuals, businesses
and health care partners within the LA Region. The
College's Languange Lab is open to improve your languange
skills and accent reduction
