Adult Residential Facility Administrator 

Initial Certification

Adult Residential Care Facilities (ARF) are facilities of any capacity that provide 24-hour no-medical care for adults ages 18 through 59, who are unable to provide for their own daily needs. Adults may be physically handicapped, developmentally disabled, and/or mentally disabled. 

This class will fulfill the Community Care Licensing requirements for the Adult Residential Care Facility Administrator Exam Certification (35) hours.

Residential  Care Facility for the Elderly Administrator Certification

  Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) are facilities of any capacity that provide no-medical care to persons 60 years of age and over and persons under 60 with compatible needs. Elderly residents require varying intensity levels of care and supervision, protective supervision, or personal care. Elderly may be frail and/or disabled and cannot or do not desire to take care of their own daily needs. You will discuss and learn rules and regulations, policies, and procedural standards on operations of RCFE; resident and personal rights. Learn of dementia and alzheimers waivers. Caring for the elderly, nutrition needs, elder abuse, psychosocial and physical needs of the elderly and frail.

This class will fulfill the Community Care Licensing requirements for the Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Administrator Exam Certification (40) hours.
